Getting around Burgas during the Eurovision Song Contest 2027 is easy, fast, and very affordable. Burgas has a modern public bus network run by Burgasbus, including a fast Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) network, and a dedicated night bus service. Here is everything an international visitor needs to know about purchasing tickets, using public transport, and getting home safely late at night.

1. Bus 15: Fastest Way from the Airport

Local bus Line 15 connects Burgas Airport (BOJ) directly to Avtogara Yug (South Bus Station) in the city center. It runs every 25 minutes, and takes about 20 minutes to reach downtown. Ticket price is 1.50 BGN (approx 0.77 EUR) for an electronic ticket inside the vehicle.

2. Digital Payments (Tap and Go)

Burgas bus network supports contactless validation. You do not need to queue for paper tickets. You can simply tap your **contactless credit or debit card** (Visa, Mastercard) directly on the validation readers inside all Burgasbus vehicles.

  • Single Ticket price: 1.50 BGN (approx 0.77 EUR) valid for travel within the municipal network.
  • Transit Card: You can purchase a rechargeable travel card at major bus terminals for cheaper fares and group travel.

3. Burgas Night Bus Network (N, B1, B2, E1)

Since Eurovision concerts end late (around midnight or later), night transport is essential. Burgas runs a dedicated night line N and extended BRT lines (B1, B2, E1) connecting all complexes to the central interchange hub at Avtogara Yug (South Bus Station, right next to the Eurovision Village in the Sea Garden).

  • Night buses run every 30 to 45 minutes between 11:30 PM and 04:30 AM.
  • You can validate your card directly on the readers, just like during the day, or purchase a night ticket from the driver (2.00 BGN / 1.00 EUR).

4. Taxis & Ridesharing

If you prefer taxi rides, do not take random cars outside the airport. Burgas does not have Uber, but has localized reliable taxi companies. We recommend calling **Indy Taxi**, **Burgas Taxi**, or **Orion**. You can also use the Maxim e-hailing app. A standard ride across the center costs around 8 to 12 BGN (4-6 EUR).
